Sports Themed Restaurant to Join 3rd Ave. Project

We now know the name and style of another restaurant slated to join Wegmans as part of the 3rd Ave. development project. 

Recently we learned that the high-end steak joint The Bancroft and  Redstone American Grill are going to part of the project. 

Now we can report that a sports-themed restaurant will also be part of the mix. The 3rd Ave. project, developed by the Nordblom Company, stated on its Facebook page that Tony C's will be opening in the development. 

“We are very pleased to welcome Tony C’s to 3rd Ave”, said Douglas Wynyard, Senior Vice President for Nordblom Company. “The Cronin Group not only delivers high-quality food, service, and engaging restaurant environments, but it also has a proven track record of supporting local communities; it speaks to the “best-in-class” quality we are bringing to 3rd Ave. Tony C’s is going to be a fantastic amenity for Burlington and is certain to 'knock the ball out of the park.'"

Wegmans - Wegmans, which has signed a 30 year lease with Nordblom with options to renew, is planning to build a 135,000 square foot facility with adjacent parking for 800 vehicles. The plans include a 14,000 square foot mezzanine overlooking a food court, an outdoor café and outdoor cooking classes.  Patrons will be able to enter and exit Wegmans from Third Avenue, Fourth Avenue or from Network Drive via Second Avenue.

Kings - The Kings bowling alley will feature a 296-seat restaurant in a 27,000 square foot building and will have 24 bowling alleys. The total occupancy is over 600 people. The location will feature a full bar and at-alley food and drink service. During the daytime Kings will be available for birthday parties. There will also be a function room for business meetings and gatherings.
