Updated: Two Injured in Serious Mall Road Accident
Burlington Police tweeted that there has been an accident on Mall Road that is causing traffic delays.
Updated 7:50 p.m. Captain John Corbatt of the Burlington Fire Department told Patch that two people were transported to Lahey Clinic following this afternoon's accident on Mall Road. Corbatt said the accident involved two vehicles and the injured parties were both in the same vehicle. The occupant of the second vehicle was not injured. Corbatt said he did not have the details to the extent of the injuries suffered by those transported to the hospital. Finally, the rumors circulated on Twitter that a pedestrian may have been involved are false, Corbatt said.
