Burlington native Amy Poehler teamed up with friend and former SNL colleague Tina Fey to host the annual awards.
Did you catch the 70th Annual Golden Globes last night? According to the Huffingtonpost.com, the award ceremony this year was the most-watched ceremony on television since 2007, with 19.7 million viewers. Of course there were big winners of actual awards two big ratings winners were hosts Amy Peohler, a Burlington native, and Tina Fay. According to the Huffington Post article the longtime friends made perfect comedy partners with "Fey, a little more wary and neurotic; Poehler, a little more wide-eyed and goofy. And both of them brilliant and fearless." The pair had some good laugh lines during their opening.
