Letter to the Editor Over the past nine years, I have had the privilege of serving as one of Burlington’s Recreation Commissioners. In that time, I have been an active participant on the board and different sub-committees, including SAFE Parks and Burlington Bike Path Committee. I also volunteer for Burlington Baseball and Softball Association, and Francis Wyman School PTO. When the School Department turned the Wildwood property back to the town, I helped to lead the charge for the Recreation Department to obtain “ownership” of the space for recreational use.
