Winner: Best Place to Buy Meat for the Grill

Who won our weekly poll?

The results are in and the Roche Brothers was named the best place for barbecue meats in Burlington in this week's Best of Patch Readers’ Choice poll. Roche Brothers garned 22 votes, beating out second place finisher Market Basket. Roche Brothers is a chain of Massachusetts grocery stores with a location in the Crossroads Plaza on Cambridge Street. It offers traditional grocery products as well as a fresh bakery and butcher shop. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh and well stocked. Winner: Best Place for Mother's Day Brunch

The results are in and Cafe Escadrille was named the best place for a Mother's Day brunch in Burlington in this week's Best of Patch Readers’ Choice poll. Cafe Escadrille narrowly beat out Jimmy's Family Restaurant and the Capital Grille, who also had good showings. This is Cafe Escadrille's second Readers' Choice Best of Patch poll. Winner: Best Liquor or Package Store

Who won the weekly poll?

The results are in and The Liquor Cabinet was named the liquor or package store in Burlington in this week's Best of Patch Readers’ Choice poll. The Liquor Cabinet received 86 votes, beating out second-place finisher Crossroads Beer & Wine, which also had  strong showing. As one reader said "Can't beat the personal service at the Liquor Cabinet!!" and another added on the store's listing "The Liquor Cabinet is awesome. Linda and Dave are definately apart of the Burlington Community. The staff and owners of the L Cabinet are great with the customers. Winner: Best Place for French Fries

Who won the weekly poll?

The results are in and McDonalds was named the best place for French Fries in Burlington in this week's Best of Patch Readers’ Choice poll. McDonalds received the most votes and narrowly beat out the Cheesecake Factory. McDonalds French Fries have long been an American favorite. According to the company's 2007 financial report, the french fries make up roughly 75 percent of the restaurants sales. Review McDonalds yourself on the business's Patch Places page. Welcome to our newest edition of Best of Patch Readers’ Choice. Last week we asked for the Best Place for Auto Repairs, and the results were great. This week we're donning green and looking at places in the Burlington area to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. For our first Dish of the Week, Patch visited the Capital Grille to learn about their lunch specials.

Welcome to our new weekly column Dish of the Week. Each week we'll feature a dish or meal at a local restaurant and bring you the details on what makes it unique and special. For the first Dish of the Week we paid a visit to Capital Grille in the Wayside Commons. The Capital Grille is well-known for it's high-quality and original steaks. They make a full meal perfect for a long dinner. However, the Capital Grille also has lighter (and less expensive) lunch options and that is what we'll feature today.
