Sleep in kids!

Burlington students can thank Hurricane Sandy for a bit more time away from school. Assistant Superintendent Patrick Larkin announced on his Twitter account this evening that Burlington Public Schools will have a 2-hour dealy on Tuesday. Larkin, in response to a comment from a reader asking if that could change, did say that "If something happens during the rest of the night, we still have flexibility." Burlington Patch will update the site if anything changes in tomorrow's school schedule. Do you know of any other organization or businesses that are changing their schedule for tomorrow? Race to Nowhere Discussion Continues on Facebook

Check out the page and join the discussion

School today can be a stressful experience for many students with all of the modern pressures and expectation they face. In April, the Burlington and Wilmington Public Schools came together to present a screening of the eye-opening documentary "Race to Nowhere."
