The following is a press release listing what has happened, is currently happening and what is coming soon. “Burlington Reads 2013” Events Our month- long schedule of events begins on Wednesday, February 27 at 7:00pm at the library with the first book discussion.  Join us for the first of 4 opportunities to discuss “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet” by Jamie Ford.  If you haven’t yet read the book, you can check out a copy at the library, or pick one up at the Recreation Department, the Council on Aging, or True North Café.  Some copies of the book were generously donated by Diane Bedard/Home Source Realty Group. Burlington Town Offices Closed Today

Burlington public buildings are closed until Wednesday.

In observation of the Christmas holiday the Burlington public offices will be closed until Wednesday. Burlington Town Hall, the schools and the library are all closed today and tomorrow. While school is out all week the other offices will re-open on Wednesday. Most businesses, restaurants and stores are open today.
