Charity Wiffle Ball Tournament to Benefit the Families of the Newtown Shooting Victims
Everyone of all ages and ability invited to participate.
A team manager from the NE Cal Ripken Regional Tournament, which this year was held in Burlington last summer, is organizing a charity wiffle ball game to benefit the victim's fund for the families of the victims of the Newtown shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary. Mike Winn informed Patch that he was organizing the game in the wake of the tragedy. He said that for the past four years players from Newtown have taken part in the tournament and he and many other members have come to now the players and coaches and wanted to help the community.
