The following is a letter to the editor from Burlington Town Clerk Amy Warfield: In this season of Giving Thanks, I want to take a moment to thank all of those who help who helped with Burlington having another successful Election. This was the first Presidential Election where we had 7 Precincts and the process went very smoothly thanks to the efforts of many. I’d like to especially thank the Burlington Police Dept., DPW Highway Dept., Recreation Maintenance, School Dept. and BHS custodians for their assistance in preparing the polls, grounds, and traffic control.
