Police: Missing Woman Found Half-Mile from Assisted Living Facility
The Burlington Police Department has issued an update on this morning's search for a missing woman.
The Burlington Police Department has issued a statement updating the public on this morning's succesful search for a 70-year-old woman with mild dimensia who was reported missing from the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility. According to police, on January 11, 2013 at 5:32 a.m. the Burlington Police Department received a telephone call from the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility located at 24 Mall Road regarding a missing elderly woman. Initial reports stated that the 70 year old female suffered from mild dementia and had last been seen at 5 a.m. Burlington Police Officers responded to the assisted living facility and began a search of the building and the area surrounding the facility, the release continues.
