Christopher Christopher Piantedosi, 39, will be held without bail until the pre-trial hearing on July 11.
Christopher Piantedosi, 39, of Methuen, the suspect in the first degree fatal stabbing of his former longtime girlfriend in her Burlington home pleaded "not guilty" to irst degree and malicious destruction of property over $250. Piantedosi was in Woburn Superior Court for the arraignment in connection to the case. He appeared behind a glass partition and said nothing beyond his response to the charge. Clerk Magistrate Matthew Day ordered that Piantedosi be held without in the lead up to a pre-trial hearing at 9 a.m. on July 9. Kristen Pulisciano was fatally stabbed in her Burlington home Thursday.
In the wake of the tragic events on Forbes Avenue last night many friends and old friends of the victim have been taking to social media to express their thoughts on the one we lost. Kristen Pulisciano, who was murdered last night, allegedly by her long-term boyfriend Christopher Piantedosi, was a North Reading native. Christopher Piantedosi turned himself in to authorities at the Massachusetts State Police Barracks in Weston shortly before 1:00 p.m.
The man wanted in connection with last evening’s stabbing death in Burlington has been taken into custody, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone and Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent informed the public today. During a press conference at the Middlesex DA's office in Woburn, Leone informed reporters that Christopher Piantedosi, 39, who had been living in Methuen, turned himself to State Police shortly before 1:00 p.m. Leone said the suspect was identified by a trooper and placed under arrest. An arrest warrant was issued early this morning for Piantedosi for one count of murder. After turning himself in, Piantedosi was transported to the Burlington Police Department, Leone said. Authorities now are identifying the woman who was stabbed to death Thursday evening.
Updated 11:28 p.m.: Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent told Patch tonight that the situation is "liquid" and police are still investigating and working the scene. At this time Kent said he could not confirm the identity of the suspect. Fox 25 Boston is reporting that police are looking for Pulisciano’s husband, Christopher Piantedosi. According to Fox's report, police believe Piantedosi may be in the Leominster area and is believed to be armed with a knife and possibly suicidal. Burlington Patch has not confirmed the couple was married and police have not definitely stated to Patch that Piantedosi is the suspect. Aaron Montgomery, of Billerica, was charged Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon after allegedly stabbing another man.
A Billerica man was arrested following a violent altercation at the Little Brooks Court apartment complex this morning. According to the Burlington Police Department, officers responded to the Littles Brook Court apartment complex at approximately 1 a.m. Friday morning to investigate an ongoing assault and possible stabbing in the parking lot. Officers arrived to find multiple people standing outside. An altercation between two men resulted in one being stabbed multiple times. The victim was transported to the Lahey Clinic for treatment by Burlington Fire. Police say the victim's injuries are believed to be non-life threatening at this time. 24-year-old with multiple stab wounds found at Best Buy and taken to hospital. Police investigating.
A man has been hospitalized as a result of stab wounds suffered Wednesday night at a popular shopping destination. On Wednesday, Dec. 8 at approximately 9:29 p.m. members of the Burlington Police Department responded to a call of a possible stabbing at the Best Buy located at 84 Middlesex Turnpike. Police found a 24-year-old male with multiple stab wounds inside the store. Responding officers and members of the Burlington Fire Department administered first aid. The man was later transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington. At this time Police have not released the name of the victim and declined to comment on his condition.
