This lecture, demonstration and performance introducing the elements of Indian Classical music in both the North and South Indian styles. Upcoming Events at the Burlington Public Library

The Burlington Public Library has a wide variety of upcoming programs and events.

The Burlington Public Library has a bunch of upcoming events and accounts of past events residents can check out. The following is a press release listing what has happened, is currently happening and what is coming soon. Preschool Fun and Games will engage children in life size game board fun for children ages 3 to 5.  Our games will not require reading but will promote cooperation, social skills, and having fun with others!  This month join Miss Mary for “Hi-Ho-Coconuts,” a variation on “Hi-Ho-Cherrio.”  The games begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 29.  No registration required. Picture Books and Movies is for children ages 3 to 8.  Miss Molly will share a story and show a movie based on the book.  Afterwards, kids will be …

Burlington: A Week in Review

A look back on Burlington stories covered this week by Burlington Patch.

This was a busy week in Burlington and so a busy week here at Patch. In case you missed any of our stories, here are some of the highlights and links to our articles to help you catch up. We started the week with coverage of Burlington's Fourth of July celebration, which included a parade and fun events on the Town Commons. We also had a video round-up of area Independence Day celebrations featuring images and videos from Burlington and neighboring towns.  Also early in the week we had a video of Burlington's Fire and Police Departments using the old Memorial Elementary School building to train in opening doors for emergency responses.  In more school-building related news, Barbara L'Heureux had a piece with updates on the Marshall Simonds…
