Book Signing and Wine Tasting for Burlington Author Tonight

Lynn Ricci, of Burlington, will be signing copies of her new book "Dating Intervention" at Pyara Spa & Salon.

BHS Athletic Boosters Craft Fair this Saturday

Craft lovers will want to check out the big craft fair and help support student athletics.

The following is a release from the Burlington High School Athletic Boosters Club: The Burlington High School Athletic Boosters Club will host their annual Craft Fair, Saturday, October 20th. The fair will be at the Burlington High School cafeterias from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  This year, hundreds of crafters will offer lovely jewelry, holiday items, doll clothes, home decorations, cards, books, and more.  Our new cafe section will feature unique sauces, jellies, chocolates, and other gourmet items. Town Employees Walking for Girl with Rare Bone Cancer

Employees at Town Hall will be walking in support of Eve, the three-year-old granddaughter of a colleague who has Erwin's Sarcoma.

Burlington Town Hall employees will be hitting the Town Commons next Monday for a 5K walk fundriaser walk in honor of the granddaughter of a colleague battling a serious disease. The girl, Eve, is 3 years old and has been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer. She is current undergoing chemotherapy as part of her treatment. To help raise money Town Hall employees are holding a raffle for gift baskets. Tickets can be purchased in the Tax Collector's office at Town Hall and during the walk. The walk will be held Monday, June 18, starting at 4:30 p.m. Come down and support the walkers and purchase a raffle ticket and help support this worthy cause.

Last Chance: Register for BEF 5k Race to Support Education

The race is this Sunday, May 6.

The Burlington Education Foundation is holding it's annual 5K Road Race to support education enrichment for Burlington schools this week. The BEF will hold its 8th annual 5K road race on Sunday, May 6, 2012 beginning at 9am.  Register online at www.burlingtonedfoundation.org or on race day at the Burlington High School, 123 Cambridge Street, Burlington, MA 01803.  All registered race participants receive a race T-shirt designed by BHS Senior Rachel Glynn. This race day is filled with hundreds of runners, walkers and spectators.  The certified 5K (through the streets of Burlington) is preceded by a ½ mile Family Fun Run around Burlington High School.  $20 pre-registration fee for the 5K ($25 on race day).  $5 for the Family Fun Run.   You …

Burlington Education Foundation 5K Run to Feature b.good and Mix 104.1

b.good ice cream truck and Mix 104.1 will be at the Burlington Education Foundation's 8th Annual Exercise for Education 5K Road Race & Family Fun Run on Sunday, May 6.

The Burlington Education Foundation to hold 8th Annual Exercise for Education 5K Road Race and Family Fun Run.

The folliwing is a release from the Burlington Education Foundation: The Burlington Education Foundation (BEF) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting community support for education excellence in the Burlington Public Schools. Café Escadrille To Hold Wine Tasting Fundraiser for People Helping People

Purchase tickets for $40 to support the Burlington Food Pantry, the Holiday Wish Tree and all the People Helping People programs.

People Helping People is very pleased to announce that the Bob Murray & the Café Escadrille will be hosting a Wine Tasting, Raffle and Charity Auction with all proceeds going to support People Helping People.
