Police Investigating Lumber Truck Accident on Middlesex Turnpike
Morning commuters on Middlesex Turnpike saw a wild scene this morning after a lumber truck spilled its contents.
Members of the Massachusetts State Police are investigating how and why a truck lost its load of lumber on the ramp from Route 3 south to Route 128 at about 7:24 a.m. this morning, Boston.com reports. Police said the lumber, which tumbled onto the roadway, slowed but did not stop traffic during the morning rush. No injuries were reported in the incident.
