Burlington Students Earn Degrees from Providence College

Congratulations to the students on their academic success.

ReadMedia: The following local residents were among over 900 students from Providence College who received undergraduate degrees during the College's Ninety-Fourth Commencement Exercises held on Sunday, May 20, 2012: Louis Caputo, a resident of Burlington, received a bachelor's degree in Health Policy and Management. Ross Carman, a resident of Burlington, received a bachelor's degree in English. Katrina Harrington, a resident of Burlington, received a bachelor's degree in Political Science. Kelly Hoarty, a resident of Burlington, received a bachelor's degree in English, Cum Laude. The Commencement address was delivered by Viola Davis, who received an honorary doctorate in fine arts. Burlington College Student Spends Break Volunteering in Dominican Republic

Kerri Gavin, a Burlington resident and student at Providence College, spent a week in the D.R. during spring break.

READ MEDIA: Kerri Gavin, a resident of Burlington, and a member of the class of 2014 at Providence College, recently spent a week working in the Dominican Republic, as part of the College's Feinstein Academic Institute's Alternative Spring Break 2012 program. Gavin was among 60 Providence College students who volunteered to spend their spring break to work in 4 different locations around the world. In the Dominican Republic, Gavin, along with 23 PC students, taught English to children at schools and orphanages and worked in a health clinic. Providence College is the only college or university in the United States administered by the Dominican Friars. Five Burlington Students Earn Place on Providence College Dean's List

Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island has released the Fall 2011 deans list and five smart Burlington students made the top of their grades.
