Jonathan Sachs, of Burlington, has teamed up with a farmer in Sprague, Washington to create two coffee-table photograph books featuring vintage trucks.
A Burlington resident is working to raise funds for a pair of photography books in tribute to vintage American farm trucks. Photographer Jonathan Sachs has started a Kickstarter project to support a project he started with David Jones, a farmer in Sprague, Washington, who is the owner of 50 vintage trucks from the 30s, 40s and 50s. Kickstarter.com is a site that allows people to propose projects they would like to complete but require support to do so. What: Come meet K-9 Havoc and enjoy an evening of art and photography by Anthony Vitale and Nicole Vecchi, to benefit Massachusetts Vest-a-Dog, Inc. an independent, all-volunteer, non-profit organization, that Supports Massachusetts Police Dogs by helping provide essential equipment, especially bulletproof K9 vests. Donna DeSimone has a unique approach to photography. Her pictures reveal her subject’s natural expression. It’s not posed look. Her photographs show emotion in the image. DeSimone is the owner of the Burlington-based photography company Donna DeSimone Photography. For her tenth birthday, DeSimone got a camera as a gift and she has been hooked on photography ever since. She takes pictures all the time and always carries a camera. Photography is pure love and enjoyment for DeSimone and it is growing into a thriving business. When DeSimone was 12 she took a photography workshop at North Shore Community College, which started off her training.
