The following is a release from the office of State Rep. Kenneth Gordon: Kenneth Gordon, of Bedford, took the Oath of Office on Tuesday as the new State Representative for Bedford, Burlington and Wilmington’s Precinct 3. Governor Deval Patrick administered the Oath to Gordon and 15 of his fellow freshman legislators. “I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to stand up for the people of Burlington, Bedford and Wilmington,” said Gordon. “There is much to be done, but I know we have what it takes to rise to the challenge. Today's Patch Snap comes courtesy of Town Clerk Amy Warfield. The picture features John Petrin, Burlington's new Town Administrator, taking the Oath of Office on June 19th in the Clerk's office. Petrin had been the Ashland Town Manager since 2005 and has a variety of community government experience. He was the Park Commission in Bellingham from 1980 to 1985. He was also the Town Administrator for Pepperell from 1985 to 1988 and had the same position in Harvard from 1988 to 2001.
