Middlesex Sheriff Makes Friendly Bet on Patriots V. Ravens Playoff Game

Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian has wagered on the Patriots/Ravens AFC Championship game happening this Sunday.

What makes football even more exciting? How about a wager? What is even more fun is a friendly wager between two sheriffs. That is the case for this Sunday's AFC Championship between the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens. According to a release, Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian and Baltimore City Sheriff John W. Anderson spoke by phone Friday and agreed to a friendly wager on the outcome of Sunday’s Patriots-Ravens AFC Championship Game. “It was great to speak with Sheriff Anderson today. VIDEO: Burlington Kids Learn Safety with Middlesex Sheriff

Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian visited the young cadets in the 2012 Youth Public Safety Academy. The week was capped off with a graduation ceremony on Friday.

Burlington students got some hands-on training in safety and were given a chance to learn about the work of firefighters and police officers last week. Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian was in Burlington Wednesday, June 27 to visit with cadets attending the 2012 Youth Public Safety Academy (YPSA). As part of the camp, the cadets were invited to the Burlington Fire Department where they toured the facility and learned about the role the fire department plays protecting public safety. The young cadets were easy to spot in their complimentary neon green shirts. Koutoujian explained that until this year the shirts were white, but he decided to change the color to something very noticeable that the children can wear in big public events. "…
