Letter: Middlesex Commons Ownership in Favor of Target Project

A letter from Edens Senior Project Manager Keith Hague on the proposed Target and traffic mitigation plan.

The following is a letter from Edens (owner of Middlesex Commons) Edens Senior Project Manager Keith Hague shared by The Gutierrez Company. Find the original here. As owners of the Middlesex Commons Shopping Center we have completed a thorough review of all plans, reports and analysis provided to us by your traffic engineer VHB. After further review of this data by our own traffic engineer, MDM Transportation, as well as follow up review meetings with yourself and VHB, we feel the proposed traffic mitigation measures will be a significant improvement to the traffic flow along Middlesex Turnpike. With the additional directional signage we discussed for Old Concord Road, we are confident that these measures will improve access and traffic …

Seems we have "birds of a feather" here ! I wish that Mr. Hague would consider putting in a path directly across from Eugene Rd. so that those of us elders could walk to Middlesex Mall rather than try to find a parking space. Or better yet, keep from getting run over by speeders thru the parking lot ! It's pretty bad when an 85 yr. old gets her foot run over, is laid up for over 3 months, and …   more ›

Burlington's newest place for a burger, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, opened yesterday in the Middlesex Commons.

Burger lovers have a new place in Burlington to satiate their hunger. Five Guys Burgers and Fries opened their newest location yesterday in the Middlesex Commons in Burlington. The new restaurant opened to little fan-fare, as is the Five Guys custom, but eager customers showed up in force all the same. "Today has been great!" President and CEO at Massachusetts Burger Enterprises, the company behind the local franchise, Marc Magerman said of the opening day. "We have been doing even better than we expected." For those unfamiliar with the restaurant, Five Guys Burger and Fries is a Virginia based company that was started in 1986. It grew slowly at first, adding only five more stores before 2001. In that time, according to the company's own …

Image Gallery: Nordstrom Rack opens at Middlesex Commons

Hundreds wait in the rain to be first in the new store!

Thursday September 8th was no ordinary day for shopping enthusiasts in Burlington. It was the opening of a new Nordstrom Rack at the Middlesex Commons Mall near H-Mart. Patch photographer Sue Bruce arrived just before 8 a.m., and was ninth person in line. The first person, showing true dedication, had been waiting since 4.30 a.m. Shoppers filled in entries to win a $2000 / 90 second dash around the new store before the doors officially opened.  The drawing was won by a young lady who was greeted enthusiastically by staff waiting inside. Catering was provided by Roxy's Grilled Cheese and Kick-Ass Cupcakes and umbrella's were handed out so shoppers could get hot coffee and breakfast without getting too wet. As the opening time neared, …
