Lahey Clinic is offering two flu clinics this weekend as reports of a worse-than-usual flu season emerge in the media. The Burlington Board of Health posted on its web site that has "has been informed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) that influenza numbers are on the rise." The Washington Post reported that Boston declared a public health emergency this past Wednesday after 18 flu-related deaths were reported so far. Lahey Clinic's flu clinics: Flu clinics are available at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, on Saturday, January 12, and Sunday, January 13, from 8 am to noon.
