Police: Body of Missing Burlington Man Found

This Saturday police recovered the body of John Mongiello who was reported missing last week in a wooded area off of Meadow Road.

Burlington Police reported today that the department has found the body of a Burlington man, deceased, who was reported missing last week. According to the Burlington Police Department, on Saturday Nov. 17, at approximately 2 p.m., Burlington Police responded to Meadow Road to investigate a report of a deceased male located in a wooded area.  The male was identified as John Mongiello of Burlington. Mr. Mongiello was reported missing one week prior. Burlington Detectives and investigators from the Massachusetts State Police responded.  The body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
