Shawsheen Technical Vocation School restores Grand View Farms
For the past several months, Shawsheen Technical Vocation School in Billerica has been repairing Grand View Farms. Jim Sullivan, the Instruction Department Chair at Shawsheen, explains all the school has been doing over at the farm.
Thanks to the work of dozens of students over at Shawsheen Technical Vocation School in Billerica, Grand View Farms, located on Center Street, has recently gotten some much needed repairs and renovations. The students at Shawsheen have been working on the Marion Tavern over at Grand View, a historical property owned by the town. Students have been fixing the HVAC heating system, plumbing, electrical work, and doing various other masonry and construction projects including laying new brick. "It's really a win-win for our school and the town," stated Jim Sullivan, the Instruction Department Chair over at Shawsheen.
