Christopher Christopher Piantedosi, 39, will be held without bail until the pre-trial hearing on July 11.
Christopher Piantedosi, 39, of Methuen, the suspect in the first degree fatal stabbing of his former longtime girlfriend in her Burlington home pleaded "not guilty" to irst degree and malicious destruction of property over $250. Piantedosi was in Woburn Superior Court for the arraignment in connection to the case. He appeared behind a glass partition and said nothing beyond his response to the charge. Clerk Magistrate Matthew Day ordered that Piantedosi be held without in the lead up to a pre-trial hearing at 9 a.m. on July 9. Christopher Piantedosi, 39, was in Woburn District Court for an arraignment on charges that he stabbed his long-time girlfriend Kristen Pulisciano in her home last Thursday evening. During the arraignment, Assistant District Attorney Nicole Allain provided new information on the case, including that the defendant and victim's 15-year-old daughter was home during the attack and that one of her friends saw the incident live on a web chat through an iPad. "The 9-1-1 call came from the 15-year-old daughter who reported that her father stabbed her mother," Allain said. "Officers entered the side door of the home and found the body and a bloody knife." Christopher Piantedosi turned himself in to authorities at the Massachusetts State Police Barracks in Weston shortly before 1:00 p.m.
The man wanted in connection with last evening’s stabbing death in Burlington has been taken into custody, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone and Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent informed the public today. During a press conference at the Middlesex DA's office in Woburn, Leone informed reporters that Christopher Piantedosi, 39, who had been living in Methuen, turned himself to State Police shortly before 1:00 p.m. Leone said the suspect was identified by a trooper and placed under arrest. An arrest warrant was issued early this morning for Piantedosi for one count of murder. After turning himself in, Piantedosi was transported to the Burlington Police Department, Leone said.
