Last Day for Toys-4-Tots Donations - Where Can You Donate in Burlington?

Find out where to bring your Toys for Tots donations in Burlington.

The Massachusetts State Police is reminding everyone that the dealine for donations for the annual Toys-4-Tots drive is today Monday, December 17. Donations of unwrapped, new, non-violent themed toys can be delivered to any State Police Barracks or any of the locations below and dropped into the donation box. Any monetary donations should be in the form of a check made out to “Toys-4-Tots”. The age group that is most needed is age 0-2 and 11-14 years-old.  Here's a look at the drop-off locations in Burlington:

Santa and Mrs. Clause to Meeting Burlington Children at BCAT

Come down to the BCAT TV studio from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a chance to meet Santa and have a picture taken.

Burlington Cable Access Television is welcoming a very special guest tonight. BCAT is inviting all of Burlington's good boys and girls to come and meet Santa Clause and his lovely wife, Mrs. Clause, in the studio from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. this evening. BCAT is located in the rear of Burlington High School. During the event children will have the chance to meet Jolly Ol’ St. Nick in person on live cable. "Kids bring your Christmas list and parents bring your cameras!" a release on BCAT's website exclaims. The event is free.   These days it seems that there is a bit of competition when it comes to holiday traditions. Without a doubt, Santa is still the number one man when it comes to Christmas but, alas, there is a new kid in town when it comes to getting attention. Lately it seems that someone a little smaller than Santa has also moved into the hearts of children. That someone is The Elf on the Shelf. As the mom of a teenager I have no experience with this little elf. As a matter of fact I had to enlist the help of a friend to learn exactly what this new tradition is all about. LIST: 2012 Toys for Tots Drop Off Locations in Burlington

Find out where to bring your Toys for Tots donations in Burlington.

The Toys for Tots annual drive is underway and there are several locations close by to drop your toys off. Bring new, unwrapped toys to the drop-off locations.  Every year for the past 28 years, the Mass. Burlington Mall Opening Very Early on Black Friday

The holiday shopping season will kick-off with a 12:30 a.m. opening.

Simon Malls, which owns the Burlington Mall, is giving dedicated holiday shoppers a chance to get a very early morning jump on their Christmas lists. Many of Simon Malls, including the Burlington Mall, will open at 12:30 a.m on Friday, Nov. 23, or Black Friday, according to Boston.com. Other Simon Malls that will open at 12:30 a.m. include the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, the Liberty Mall in Danvers, the Arsenal Mall in Watertown, the Northshore Mall in Peabody and the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough. The Mall at Chestnut Hill and the Copley Place Mall will open at 9 a.m. We want to know.
