At around noon today the Massachusetts State Police confirmed the man originally believed to possibly have a gun in the Burlington Mall is not a threat. "The man in question called State Police from Lahey Clinic, where he reportedly is an employee, to say he was the person who was seen in the mall," a release from the Mass State Police says. "The call was taken by State Police Communications Center. Troopers and officers responded to the area of the Clinic and questioned him and determined he was not carrying a weapon and is not a threat."
