Updated: Two Killed in Dec. 20 Mall Road Accident

Chief Yetman of the Burlington Fire Department informed the public today that two people died in the Dec. 20 accident on Mall Road.

Updated 6 p.m. Fire Chief Steven Yetman has provided a couple of additional details on the victims of yesterday's crash. The driver was a 72 year old male. The passenger was an 88 year old female from Boston. Yetman said the names will not be released at this time. Updated 12:58 p.m. Two people have passed away as a result of injuries sustained in yesterday's accident at 25 Mall Road. Chief Steven Yetman of the Burlington Fire Department told Patch today that the two people, and elderly driver and passenger, who sustained injuries and were transported to Lahey Clinic have died as a result of their injuries. The names of the victims have not yet been released. The driver of the other vehicle involved was not seriously injured and refused …

Burlington Man Indicted in Connection to Fatal Pedestrian Accident Last August

Middlesex County DA Gerry Leone stated today that Anthony Manfredi, of Burlington, was indicted on charges of felony motor vehicle homicide and operating under the influence of liquor, second offense.

A Burlington man has been indicted on charges in connection with the Aug. 14, 2011 fatal pedestrian collision that resulted in the death of Burlington resident Daniel Jalbert, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone informed the public today. According to a release from the DA's office, Anthony Manfredi, 49, of Burlington, was indicted by a Middlesex County grand jury on charges of felony motor vehicle homicide and operating under the influence of liquor, second offense. Manfredi will be arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 9 am. Burlington Woman Arraigned on Charges Related to Fatal Accident

Nicole Parziale, of Burlington, was ordered held on $15,000 cash bail on charges stemming from a May 14 motor vehicle crash that resulted in the death of Glenn Robichaud, 55, of Bedford.

A Burlington woman was arraigned today on charges in connection with the May 14 motor vehicle crash that resulted in the death of Glenn Robichaud, 55, of Bedford.  Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone informed the public today that Nicole Parziale, 39, of Burlington, was arraigned this morning in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on charges of felony motor vehicle homicide, operating under the influence of liquor, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor causing serious injury (3 counts), and operating a motor vehicle without a license. Middlesex Superior Court Clerk Magistrate Michael Sullivan ordered the defendant held on $15,000 cash bail.  Parziale will next appear in court on Sept. 28 …

State Police: Burlington Resident Identified as Victim of Fatal Crash Sunday Morning

Police say Herbert Lwanyaga, 46, of Burlington was pronounced deceased at the scene of the single-vehicle accident

The Massachusetts State Police have released the name of the victim in the fatal single-vehicle accident on Route 95 in Burlington early Sunday morning. According to the State Police On Sunday May 29, 2011 at 1:43 a.m., troopers from the State Police Barracks in Danvers responded to reports of a one-vehicle crash on Route 95 northbound in Burlington.  The male operator died as a result of injuries he sustained in the crash. Preliminary investigation by Trooper Patrick Ahl indicates that Herbert Lwanyaga, 46, of Burlington, was operating a 2000 Land Rover Discovery when he lost control of the vehicle and rolled over.  The operator, who was the sole occupant, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.  Responding EMS …

State Police: Alcohol Involved in Fatal Crash on Route 95 Last Night

A two-car accident on Route 95 last night left one passenger dead and other transported to the hospital. The driver of one vehicle has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to a release from the Massachusetts State Police, at at 10:38 p.m. last night, troopers from the State Police Barracks in Concord responded to a two-car crash on Route 95 northbound, south of Exit 32, in Burlington. The crash resulted in one fatality and injuries to other occupants in both vehicles. Preliminary investigation by Trooper Carly E. Rose indicates that a grey 2001 Pontiac Grand Am was being operated in the right travel lane by Nicole Parziale, 39, of Amesbury.  She had two passengers, Glenn Robichaud, 55, of Bedford and Denis J. Splain, 53, of Boston, police said. Parziale abruptly turned left, crossing the middle lane and entering the left lane in front of another vehicle.  That vehicle, a green 1998 Buick sedan …
