Burlington Man Indicted on Rape Charges; Threatening Victim with Release of Video
Do Kyun Kim, 18, of Burlington will be arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on April 2 on charges of rape, indecent assault and batter and making threats.
A Burlington man has been indicted on charges alleging that he raped a female victim and then threatened to release videos of the alleged rape if she did not continue to engage in sexual activity with him, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone informed the public today. According to a release from Leone's office, Do Kyun “Eddie” Kim, 18, of Burlington, was charged with rape (2 counts), indecent assault and battery (2 counts), and making threats. He will be arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on April 2 at 9 am. “This defendant is alleged to have met the victim online, deceptively gaining her trust before arranging to meet her.
