Billerica Man Charged in Connection to November Dunkin Donuts Robbery
DA: Derek Colamartino, of North Billerica, charged with armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon.
A North Billerica man is charged in connection with an armed robbery in Burlington late last year, according to a release issued last Thursday by Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone. Derek Colamartino, 21, of North Billerica, was charged Thursday with three counts of armed robbery, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, receiving a stolen motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. According to Billerica Police Department officials, who arrested Colamartino on Nov. 18, 2011, Colamartino is being charged in connection to multiple crimes, including the Nov. 15 armed robbery of the Burlington Dunkin Donuts on the corner Middlesex Turnpike and Wheeler Road.
