Christopher Piantedosi, 39, of Methuen, the suspect in the first degree fatal stabbing of his former longtime girlfriend in her Burlington home pleaded "not guilty" to irst degree and malicious destruction of property over $250. Piantedosi was in Woburn Superior Court for the arraignment in connection to the case. He appeared behind a glass partition and said nothing beyond his response to the charge. The main suspect in the first degree fatal stabbing of his former longtime girlfriend in her Burlington home was indicted yesterday, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone informed the public. Christopher Piantedosi, 39, of Methuen, was indicted yesterday by a Middlesex Grand Jury on charges of murder in the first degree and malicious destruction of property over $250. He will be arraigned June 12 at 9 a.m. in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn. Christopher Piantedosi turned himself in to authorities at the Massachusetts State Police Barracks in Weston shortly before 1:00 p.m.
The man wanted in connection with last evening’s stabbing death in Burlington has been taken into custody, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone and Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent informed the public today. During a press conference at the Middlesex DA's office in Woburn, Leone informed reporters that Christopher Piantedosi, 39, who had been living in Methuen, turned himself to State Police shortly before 1:00 p.m. Leone said the suspect was identified by a trooper and placed under arrest. The Middlesex District Attorney's office confirmed to Patch this afternoon that both of Kristen Pulisciano's children are safe. This morning Fox 25 News in Boston reported that neighbors reported seeing the couple's two children run out of the home at the time when Pulisciano was being murdered. According to the report, the children were yelling that their mother had been stabbed. According to an August, 2011 in the Union Leader, Piantedosi allegedly snatched a woman's purse and then returned her money and GPS with a sorry note. According to the story, on July 18 Piantedosi was charged with a count of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer after he grabbed a purse from a shopping cart at Market Basket in Plaistow and swiped a wallet and GPS unit.
