The Burlington Council on Aging held a candidate forum this week.
The three Democrats looking to be on the November ballot for the open 21st Middlesex District State Representative seat participated in a candidate forum at the Burlington Council on Aging last week. The 21 Middlesex District includes the towns of Burlington, Bedford and Precinct 3 of Wilmington. Incumbent Charles Murphy announced earlier this year that he would not seek re-election. However, due to the timing of the election, his is the only name that will appear on the Sept. 6 primary ballot. The three candidates are also running write-in campaigns. The BACC is hosting a candidate forum for the contested races in Burlington's Town Election tomorrow morning.
The Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a forum featuring the candidates in the town's Board of Selectmen and Planning Board races. The event, which is open to all, will be held tomorrow morning from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the first-floor conference room at 1 New England Executive Park.
