An online survey recently revealed the results of Boston's perfect man and woman.

  It's something people have been debating for years—What makes the perfect man or woman? The online dating-auction site WhatsYourPrice.com recently revealed what thousands of Bostonians consider the perfect man and woman, according to a survey conducted among its clients. The perfect woman:  The perfect man: According to Leroy Velasquez, a public relations spokesman for WhatsYourPrice.com, Boston was the only city, out of 30, to put such a high ranking on red hair for women and a man's education. TELL US: Should Burlington go for More Liquor Licenses?

The Board of Selectmen discuss looking into increasing the number of liquor licenses in town.

Should the Town of Burlington apply for more liquor licenses from the state to distribute to future restaurants? The Board of Selectmen discussed that issue during Monday night's meeting. Town Administrator John Petrin told the board that there is interest among restaurant groups and the town's own planning department in acquiring new licenses for restaurants. Burlington currently has 25 liquor licenses that can be used by restaurants, Petrin said. Due to town bylaws all of the establishments must be geared towards food. Burlington has no traditional bars. There are also some licenses, like those for the restaurants in the upcoming NorthWest park, that are tied to specific locations. Petrin said acquiring addition licenses would have two …

Was Mitt Romney in Burlington?

News reports of the presidential candidate indicate he was in town.

Was presidential candidate Mitt Romney in Burlington? It appears that he was, at least according to various news reports that have the dateline (location of story origin) of Burlington, Massachusetts, including this story from ABC News.  The stories were not about any events in Burlington, but instead were reports of Romney cancelling a trip to Pueblo, Colorado after the airport he was supposed to land in had a crash of a small plane that killed one person. Romney spokesman Rick Gorka said the campaign did not want to interfere with the emergency response and the expected investigation into the crash. The big question is why the candidate was in town. First West Nile Death in Mass. Since 2005, Threat Level Raised Statewide

A Worcester resident in his 60s with severe underlying medical conditions was diagnosed with WNV in mid-August and has since died of the illness.

The first death of a Massachusetts resident due to West Nile Virus (WNV) since 2005 and additional human cases have led state officials to raise the threat level statewide to at least 'moderate." Celebrate Burlington Day was held on Saturday.

The Burlington Town Commons and Simonds Park were hopping on Saturday, Aug. 4 as many people came out to enjoy fun, games, entertainment and food during Celebrate Burlington Day 2011, put on by the Recreation Department. Activities included Fire engine rides, Pony rides, Remote car racing, dunk tank, a Climbing Wall, a Giant Water Slide a Trackless Train Ride and a lot more. As the best of celebration often do, Celebrate Burlington Day ended with a great fireworks display that could be viewed from the commons and Simonds Park.
