Out on Bail, Lexington Man Arrested for Robbing Second Burlington Bank

Alleged robber targeted Brookline Bank on Dec. 20.

  Legendary criminal Willie Sutton said he robbed banks "because that's where the money is." Now, a Lexington man has gone Sutton one better: Burlington is where the money is. For the second time in two months, the 22-year-old was collared by the law for robbing a bank in or near the Burlington Mall. John Robert Stocki, of 9 Judges Rd. in Lexington was apprehended in his hometown on Christmas Eve by law enforcement for allegedly robbing the Brookline Bank at 72 Mall Road on Dec. 20.  Stocki was arrested for robbing the Bank of America in the Burlington Mall on Oct. 18 and was out on bail awaiting trial for that robbery when he decided to head back to Burlington for another try.
