Police Asking for Public's Help in Finding this Alleged Bank Robber

Burlington Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in today's robbery at Brookline Bank. According to a release from the department, the bank robbery took place at approximately 10:30 a.m. at the bank location at 72 Mall Road. Police state the suspect is described as a white male, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, sweat pants, dark colored sneakers, and aviator style sunglasses.  According to the police, the suspect demanded money but no weapon was shown.  If anyone recognizes the suspect, please contact the Burlington Police Department at 781-272-1212.

Reports of Bank Robbery on Mall Road

There are scanner reports that the Brookline Bank on Mall Road has been robbed.

UPDATED, 11:44 a.m.: Wilmington Police have responded and a K-9 unit is searching the area, according to Burlington Patch Editor Richard Hosford. ------------------------- There are reports of a robbery of the Brookline Bank at 72 Mall Road. According to scanner traffic and tweets from Mike Moura and Alertnewengland, locals who follow police and fire scanners, a suspect described as a white male with a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and sunglasses fled the bank towards the Burlington Mall.
