Burlington Athlete Charged in Bat Attack After Hockey Game

Winchester Police confirmed that a verbal altercation between Winchester and Burlington hockey fans led to a violent attack following the game.

Updated at 6:37 p.m.: BURLINGTON, MA -- Burlington High School boys hockey head coach Bob Conceison said school officials were working to find additional volunteers to monitor the crowd that will file into TD Garden to watch the Red Devils in the state championship game on Sunday. "It’s a shame that something like that happened," said Conceison. "We have a very enthusiastic crowd and a following that makes for great event. It's just very unfortunate to see an incident like this."
