The Friends of the Burlington Library Spring Book Sale is running all this weekend.
There was a royal celebration at the Burlington Public Library yesterday as the Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale kicked off in the style of Westminster Abbey. The first day of the book sale was "Royal Wedding" day. People were invited to wear a tiara, veil or bow tie to receive a free book in honor of Prince William and Catherine Middleton's nuptial ceremony that took place in London yesterday. The first 100 shoppers were also invited to partake in Royal Wedding cupcakes. At around 1 p.m. there was a good crowd of people pursuing the many books that had been donated to help fund library programs with this twice-annual fundraiser.
