The Burlington Public Library has a wide variety of upcoming programs and events.

The following is a press release listing what has happened, is currently happening and what is coming soon. Summer Reading Results What a wonderful Summer Reading Program we had at the Burlington Public Library! This year, we had a total of 450 elementary students participate in the Kids Summer Reading Program writing a total of 173 online book reviews. We had a total of 93 children/parents participate in the Early Literacy Summer Reading Program (birth – PreK). It was a great inaugural program for our youngest readers! Also, a total of 138 teens read for a grand total of 2,948 hours, writing 423 online book reviews for the …

Library Hours: The library will be closed Monday, Jan. 16 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Last Wednesday Book Group: The Book Group will meet Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. to discuss “Someone to Run With” by David Grossman. Rose Rosen will lead the discussion of  this story that weaves together the lives of two middle-class teens who find themselves in Jerusalem's violent drug underworld. The following is a press release listing what has happened, is currently happening and what is coming soon. Library Hours The library will be closed from Saturday, Sept. 3 through Monday, Sept. 5 in observance of Labor Day.  Our regular hours will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 6, and are as follows: Book Drops Our book drops are a popular means for many returning their library items.  The convenience of having 24 hour access to the book drop is a service that we are happy to be able to offer.  With a long weekend coming, it is important to remember that the items left in the book drop are your responsibility until we check them in…
