Burlington Patch asked Bobby Flay what brought him to Burlington.
As reported on Burlington Patch, television personality, chef and restaurant owner Bobby Flay opened the first Bobby's Burger Palace in Massachusetts in the Burlington Mall this past Sunday. Before the grand opening Flay met with members of the press for a dinner. During that event Burlington Patch asked him what made him decide to come to Burlington. Eager diners lined up in the cold weather outside of the Burlington Mall this past Sunday for a chance to try a burger from one of the Food Network's most recognizable stars. Bobby's Burger Palace held its grand opening on Sunday, Jan. 27. The restaurant is located at the Burlington Mall and has it's own entrance. Flay himself was in attendance to welcome customers to the new restaurant. This is the first Bobby's Burger Palace in Massachusetts and the 13th one opened to date. Flay is best known for his televisions shows and the shows he participates in on the Food Network, including Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Bobby Flay's Barbecue Addiction and Iron Chef America. Bobby's Burger Palace, owned by television chef star Bobby Flay, is set to open in the Burlington Mall this Sunday. Bobby's Burger Palace, soon to open at the Burlington Mall, is now hiring for various positions.
A soon-to-open restaurant owned by a celebrity chef is now hiring for it's new Burlington location. As reported on Burlington Patch the "fast order food establishment" named Bobby’s Burger Palace is going to open at the Burlington Mall. While the restaurant's Facebook page states it will "announce [the] official opening date soon" there will be a job fair all this week for prospective employees. Some big-name chefs and a New Jersey girl are leading the fight for gender-equality in children's toys. What do you think about this issue?
The Easy-Bake Oven has been a favorite childhood toy since it was first introduced by the company Kenner in 1963. But a new campaign is advocating for this toy to be made in colors suitable for both girls and boys. New Jersey resident McKenna Pope, age 13, wants to see the toy's current manufacturer offer the Easy-Bake Oven in more "gender neutral" colors. Young Pope will meet with the toy's manufacturers, Rhode Island-based toy maker Hasbro, and advocate this idea, reports The Providence Journal. The Easy-Bake Oven is currently only offered in pink and purple. Pope would like to see the toy oven also made in colors suitable for boys. She's not alone in the campaign. Burlington is a great place for food enthusiasts. Along with all the quality restaurants already in town, there are new restaurants coming in that have people excited. As reported this morning, the new Tavern in the Square building almost set to open, but that will be just the first in a line of new restaurants. There is also the Seasons 52 coming to Wayside, the plaza that will also soon be home to Bonefish Grill and Potbelly Sandwich Shop. The first Bobby’s Burger Palace in the Commonwealth should open in the fall.
A new restaurant, permitted as a "fast order food establishment" named Bobby’s Burger Palace is going to open at the Burlington Mall. But it’s a not a traditional fast food eatery or burger joint. And the Bobby in its name is chef, restaurateur, cookbook author and TV personality Bobby Flay. Flay is best known for his televisions shows and the shows he participates in on the Food Network, including Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Bobby Flay's Barbecue Addiction and Iron Chef America. Fans will be happy to know that Bobby's Burger Palace will feature Fay's signature burger, the Crunchburger (see picture at right).
