Today is "Black Friday" the day that unofficially starts the holiday shopping season. Here are five Black Friday facts: 1. BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING FORECAST: Friday: Partly sunny. Milder. Highs in mid/upper 50s. Saturday: Mainly cloudy with a few rain showers — it may end as a few wet snow showers in the Worcester hills. Highs in the upper 40s early then temps crash into the upper 30s by night. Sunday: Cold and windy. Clouds and sun. Maybe a flurry well NW? Upper 30s to near 40 for highs. 2. Unfortunately the stores that advertise on line do not carry the same product in their store. i.e; I saw a product I wanted at Kohl's. When I went to the store to purchase it, the store did not have it and told me to buy it on line ! I would much rather buy at the store. Some of us like to see the product, nor have to wait if it's a last minute gift. This is NOT good business practice if the …   more ›
