Police Searching for Suspect Who Pulled Knife on Macy's Security
Do you recognize the man in the photo above? Burlington Police are looking for him in connection to a reported knife incident at Macy's.
Burlington Police are searching for the man pictured in the surveillance image above in connection to a shoplifting turned armed robbery at Macy's this evening. Officer Mark Driscoll told Burlington Patch that at about 5:28 p.m. police received notice from Macy's that an alleged shoplifter pulled a knife on loss prevention officers as they tried to detain him. The suspect is pictured above. He is a white male with short hair wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and what appears to be blue jeans. He was also carrying a black jacket. Driscoll said the suspect allegedly tried to shoplift a shirt and four pairs of boxers. When Macy's loss prevention attempted to apprehend him he pulled a knife and ran out of the story. New Details, Surveillance Images of Sept. 18 Gas Station Armed Robbery Released
A male attempted to rob the Mobil Station at 173 Bedford St. with a knife a little after midnight.
New details and images from a surveillance camera from the Sept. 18 armed robbery of the Mobil On the Run gas station at 173 Bedford St. have been released. As reported on Burlington Patch, Burlington police responded to a call at 12:18 a.m. of an attempted armed robbery at the gas station. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male under five feet tall and wearing a sweatshirt and blue jeans. A knife was brandished during the robbery. Some new details have emerged on the robbery and of the suspect. Fox 25 News reported yesterday that the robber allegedly threatened to kill the clerk if he did not comply with his directions. A male attempted to rob the Mobil Station at 173 Bedford St. with a knife a little after midnight.
A man armed with a knife attempted to rob the Mobil Station at 173 Bedford St. a little after midnight last night. According to the Burlington Police Department log, police responded to a call at 12:18 a.m. of an attempted armed robbery at the gas station. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male under five feet tall and wearing a sweatshirt and blue jeans. According to the logs police and the Burlington K9 Unit searched the area, but the man was not found. Police dispatch told Patch that the incident is currently under investigation and so the department will not comment further at this time. The Burlington Police Department has released a sketch and an updated description of the suspect in a recent armed robbery in the parking lot of the Burlington Mall. As reported on Burlington Patch, on April 30 police responded to a call of a robbery at the Burlington Mall. According to police, a woman was sitting in her car in the lot with her door slightly ajar when a man allegedly pulled the door open and demanded her purse. The victim said the man showed her a knife during the robbery. The female victim was not injured during the robbery. According to the victim the man ran into a nearby executive park.
