Teen Light 5K to Benefit Those With Autism Tomorrow

Hundreds of 8th graders from the Marshall Simonds Middle School have made it their mission to help teens with autism and are holding a benefit 5K walk tomorrow.

Lahey Clinic is holding its annual 5k Walk & Run tomorrow, June 2, with registration starting at 7 a.m.

The following is a release from Lahey Clinic: Lahey Clinic’s Annual Cancer Walk & 5K Run will take place rain or shine on Saturday morning, June 2. Registration for the run begins at 7 a.m. and registration for the walk begins at 8 a.m. The events, held simultaneously on the Burlington and Peabody campuses, are open to all and raise funds to enhance Lahey’s cancer services in both locations. Thank you for leaving pets at home. Inspired by the realization that there are a million reasons to walk because cancer impacts us all, the event celebrates its seventh year in Burlington and third in Peabody. Middle School Teen LIGHT Students Holding 5K for Good Cause

The MSMS group Teen LIGHT is holding a charity 5K run for Camp Sunshine, Christopher's Haven and the Dana-Farber Jimmy Fund at the town commons on June 2.

The following is a release from MSMS's group Teen LIGHT: Hundreds of 8th graders from the Marshall Simonds Middle School have made it their mission to help teens with serious illnesses such as cancer.  They will hold their fourth annual Teen LIGHT walk-a-thon on June 2.  The 5k run/walk will begin on the Burlington town common and include activities following the 5K.  The teens added the option to run the 5K this year to attract runners to the event.  Proceeds will benefit Camp Sunshine, Christopher’s Haven, and Dana-Farber Jimmy Fund. On-site registration will take place at 9:00 a.m. on the common.  The 5K will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with activities on the common until 1:00 p.m.  The event will include entertainment, raffles, snacks, …
