Rainforest Cafe

There's no need to buy plane tickets for a fun getaway if you visit The Rainforest Cafe in the Burlington Mall. A giant mushroom, a large flapping butterfly, a swinging monkey and a crocodile that moves up to ask for coins whimsically greet customers at the front of this store and restaurant. The store is filled with toys and clothes and trinkets as well as a talking tree. There are two large fish tanks to entertain guests waiting to be seated at the restaurant. Inside of the restaurant, the menu runs the gamut from English-style fish and chips to pork spare ribs and tropical mahi mahi. Kids will enjoy the amusingly named choices on their menu such as Rainforest Rascals and Python Pasta. As its name suggests, diners should be prepared for the occasional tropical storm outburst in the surrounding rainforest decor.
