Electronic Recycling Day - Everything You Need to Know

Do have old electronics, car batteries, appliances and other such items you are looking to get rid of? 

This Saturday Saint Margaret Church at 111 Winn Street is holding an electronic recycle day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot. 

This event will be the last opportunity in the area this year to recycle TV's and electronics..

They will be accepting all electronics, including monitors, computers, computer games,  stereo equipment, copy and fax machines, printers, TV's. Any item that has a plug.

They are also accepting appliances such as washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators as well as lawn mowers, snow blowers with the gas removed, exercise equipment and 
grills.

The recycle event will have fees of $5 for each computer, $10 for any monitor or small TV less than 19", $15 for each TV between 19" and 26" and $20 for each TV over 26" wide and $25 for wood console TV's and projection TV's. Appliances will be taken for $10 a piece.  
 
Any cell phones and car or truck batteries are free.
