Get into the holiday spirit with Burlington's Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony this Sunday.

The event will start at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 on the Town Commons.

Before the lights on switched on there will be singers performing Christmas Carols and sing-alongs. There will also be a dance number featuring dancers from Suzanne's Dance Connection

There will also be a special guest in a bright red suit. That's right, Santa will be coming to visit along with his elves and snowmen. Santa will light the lights around 4:30 to 4:45 p.m.

Also, for the first time ever, there will be fireworks as part of the festivities. The fireworks will go off at about 4:45 p.m.
