Burlington Food Pantry Seeks Volunteers

The Burlington Food Pantry needs your help.

Lend a hand and help support those in need in the community. The Burlington Food Pantry and People Helping People Inc. is looking for volunteer for regular part-time help. The following is a release:

The is in need of volunteers for specific tasks that will be ongoing.  Interested in helping out with your community – Contact Janet Fitzgerald at sullivanfh@comcast.net or 781-244-9519.

  • Bin Pickup

Travel to locations such as Market Basket and the Library to pick up food and bring to the Food Pantry. Schedules can be flexible.

  • Helpers to Carry Food to Car

You will be responsible to push carts out to the client’s cars and help load the bags into their cars.  Second & Fourth Tuesday of the Month. You must be committed to work in rain, snow, sleet, and heat.

  • Distribution People

We need help to distribute food to pantry clients from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month.  You will also help restock shelves and clean up at the end of the day.
