Today's Patch Snap comes from Joan Ford who wrote in concerning the Burlington U10 Girls Softball Team. She said:
"The Burlington U10 Girls State Tournament Softball team when to play in the State Softball Tournament in Raynham over the 4th of July weekend and represented the town well. After losing two games of Friday the girls came back on Saturday with determination and worked together to pull out two wins. This allowed the girls to come back on Sunday to play in the semi finals.
These girls were down late in the innings but rallied together for a dramatic comeback to beat a great team from Halifax. After a short break from the heat the girls hit the field again for the championship game against Raynham however fell short in the final and have also qualified for the NE Regionals later this month."
