Burlington High Kicks Off MIAA Tournaments This Week

Burlington High has two basketball teams and a hockey team in the tourney.

Burlington High School heads into the MIAA tournament this week.

Boys hockey

Burlington High boys hockey takes on St. John’s (Shrewsbury) at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday in Chelmsford.

The winner plays the winner of Arlington vs. St. John’s Prep on Friday.

Burlington is the 7 seed and finished the year at 10-3-8. St. John’s is the 10 seed and went 10-5-7.

 

Girls hockey

Girls hockey will play Medfield in Burlington. The MIAA site did not have a day or time for the game as of Monday morning.

Burlington is the 6 seed and finished the year at 13-4-1. Medfield is the 27 seed and finished the year at 8-8-3.

 

Boys basketball

Burlington High boys basketball takes on Malden Catholic at 7 p.m. Monday in Burlington.

The winner plays top ranked New Mission at 7 p.m. Saturday at New Mission.

Burlington was the number 16 seed in the Division 2 North tourney and finished the year 11-9. Malden Catholic is the number 17 seed and went 10-10.
