Patch Snap: BHS Interact Club Collecting Socks for Veterans

Patch Snap is an occasional post that features pictures from around Burlington or Burlington residents out and about.

Welcome to another edition of Patch Snap, where we highlight a picture or pictures of around Burlington or of Burlington residents out and about.

Today's Patch Snap feature's the Burlington High School Interact Club and comes from Janet Sullivan who participates in the group.

According to Sullivan the Burlington Rotary High School Interact Club kicked off their Fall Sock Drive for Veterans.

During the months of October and November the students will be collecting white heavy socks for the Veterans at the Bedford V.A.  The club’s goal is to collect over 500 pairs of socks.  Director of Veterans Services and Burlington Selectman Bob Hogan talked to the students about the importance of giving and the strong need for the socks.
