Patch Snap: BHS Electronic Recycling Day a Big Success

Have electronic waste to recycle but missed the drop-off day? You can still have them recycled in Wilmington.

Welcome to another edition of Patch Snap, where we highlight a picture or pictures of around Burlington or of Burlington residents out and about.

Today's Patch Snap comes from April Healey and is on the Burlington High School's Students for Environmental Action (SEA) Club's electronic waste collection day on Jan. 5. Healey explained:

The Burlington High School's Students for Environmental Action (SEA) Club recently held an Electronics Recycling Day at Burlington High, and it was a big success.  The students organized the event and collected enough old printers, cell phones, monitors, computers, stereos and game systems to fill a 12 foot truck!

The items will be recycled by Wilmington Computer Recycling of Wilmington, and will help to reduce the amount of electronic junk going to a landfill.

If you missed the Recycling Event, you can still bring old computer and electronic equipment to Wilmington Computer Recycling.  Call them at 978-658-3700 for hours and details.
