IMAGE GALLERY: Take a Virtual Tour of Burlington's New Memorial School

The school had an open house on Sept. 17 and Patch was there with camera in hand.

Burlington's new Memorial School was opened this past weekend to allow members of the community a chance to tour the facility and see the newly completed building.

People were coming in and out all throughout the day, some going on guided tours and others just wandering around checking out the new school. Burlington Patch was also there, and we present a virtual tour of the new school.

Finally, the open house began with the unveiling of two plaques in memory of Burlington soldiers lost during international conflicts. Check back with Burlington Patch shortly for full coverage of that event.

Thanks Rich - this photo gallery really gives people who could not make it to the opening a good feel for the school. It looks terrific. I am especially happy to see the rubber surface on the playground - low maintenance and much safer. I am happy for all the students and teachers at Memorial School!

This building makes me feel good about paying taxes. It is a beautiful example of what our town has to offer. All-in-all, money well spent.

Your camera and you did a terrific job of displaying the interior of the new school.
