All Burlington Public Schools were under a 2-hour delay this morning because of the effects of Hurricane Sandy.

However, there was an issue that delayed the restoration of power. The school representative said that as of an hour ago the issue had been identified and NSTAR is continuing to work on to restore power.

Patch was told that the school has sufficient natural light for students to be in class. The children will be served a cold lunch today.

When asked about the temperature, the school representative said that it will not be an issue as it is not very cold today and that they were not sure if the other schools had their heat going today.
